A Sad Day for Pakistan

What a sad day for Pakistan today. While Benazir Bhutto was a controversial and provocative public figure, she was most certainly the greatest hope for peace and democracy in Pakistan right now. Her assassination and death will leave a deep vacuum in the Middle East that will be almost impossible to fill.

My heart goes out to the people of Pakistan as they mourn their great leader. May she rest in peace.
