A Ray of Hope for Employed Domestic Abuse Victims
It looks like employers are starting to implement serious programs that protect employees who are victims of domestic abuse. Oh, how we have needed these programs for so long. According to this article on Yahoo, more and more lives are saved by employers who help relocate domestic abuse victims or intervene in domestic abuse cases. Some companies, with the help of wonderful organizations like the Family Violence Prevention Fund, are conducting mandatory training among personnel to recognize and deal with employees who are victims of domestic abuse.
These measures to protect women are so valuable and can provide a safety net for employed victims who may have nowhere else to go. Now if we can just get the same accessible help to women and victims who are unemployed.
